The Indiana Flag

The Indiana Flag

The meaning:
              The torch stands for liberty and enlightenment
              The rays represent their far reaching influence
              The thirteen stars on the outer circle represent the thirteen original colonies
              The large star represents Indiana
              The five other stars represent the states admitted prior to Indiana
